Job description
The Junior Accountant will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Record and maintain financial transactions in the company's accounting systems.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budget preparation and financial analysis activities.
- Monitor and track company expenses.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
- Perform administrative and accounting-related tasks assigned by management.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
